The Costa Brava, an ideal place as a

Costa Brava: The Costa Brava is one of the most desirable destinations for

Pals: Locality of the region of Baix Empordà formed by three living areas: Pals, Masos de Pals and Playa de Pals. The singularities of each of this offer different proposals. the beauty of its landscape and richness of its historical and partimonial
legacy.
In Pals you will find one of the most beautiful and best
preserved Gothic areas of the Empordà. A wide beach ideal for families and for
lovers and water sports especially windsurfing and a natural environment of
marshes and paddy fields for walking, hiking or cycling, or simply, to observe
and enjoy the landscape.
Begur: Located in the heart of the Empordà, the town of Begur and hid coves are one of the best beautiful places of the Costa Brava with an extense coastline bathed by the Mediterranean sea. They stand out the best coves of Spain: Aiguablava, Sa Tuna and Sa Riera.
The old town is formed by multiples:
·Caminos de ronda: The different footpaths and coastal paths allow walking through the dense vegetation and forests, as by the incomparable coast of Begur.
·Monumentos: That have remained as legacy of the most significative moments of his history. The group of the 8 coves and small that make an authentic landscape.
The well-known image of Begur is the medieval castle that
precides over the living area, from where you can see the views of the whole
plain of the Empordàand the coast that surrounds the Cape of Begur. Also we
have to highlight the Indian houses too,built by the habitants in the 19th
century, who emigrated to "Las Américas", fleeing for the current
economic crisis. Some returned with an important fortune and the built their
own house with the colonial american style.
You can rent boats, make organized road trips, practice
snorkelling or navegate with kayak, between others.
As for diving, Begur has several diving centers that
provide a large number of services and, with the guarantee of professionals,
offer the possibility to immerse yourself and know a new world, silent and
magical.
At the beginning of September, Begur is transformed to celebrate
"La fira d'Indians" and revive an historical period that has left a
deep imprint on the people and identity. For three days, Begur offers a wide
range of entertainments and culture that has as a thread the indian past.
Palafrugell: Living area with cultural, sporting
facilities, and a great comercial activity located at the foot of "Les
Gavarres".
Palafrugell is the most populated town if the region. It the
central area of Palafrugell there are the cultural, comercial and gastronomic
activity.
Accesible only for pedestrians, around the old wall you can
walk quietly and walk shops, bars, restaurants, museums and foundations.
This villa today lives mainly on tourism, is ideally located
between the sea and the mountains. It is made up of 9 population centers: El
Bruguerol, Calella de Palafrugell, Ermedàs, Llafranc, Llofriu, Palafrugell,
Santa Margarida, Tamariu and Vila-seca.
Calella:This fishing village
is located on a wide coast, formed by small coves, north of the natural area of
Castell-Cap Roig, ideal for walks or excursions, and south of the coast and
tourist center of Llafranc. Recognized for its beautiful coves with crystalline
water as well as its excellent gastronomy. Recognized nationally and
internationally for its famous Habaneras transmitted by television, as well as
their summer concerts in the botanical garden of Cap Roig with national and
international famous singers attend.
·Llofriu: it is a village of
medieval origin where you can still breathe the tranquility, located in the
north-western part of Palafrugell, at the foot of Las Gavarras, is formed by
houses and surrounded by a large agricultural and livestock area. In the old
town stands out the church and the old schools, nowadays Bassa-Rocas Cultural
and Social Center. Also we find the Mas Pla, manpower of Josep Pla, and his
tomb in the cemetery.
Ermedàs: located at the south of Palafrugell, is a small living area of less than 50 inhabitants where we find towers of defense, houses of peas, farms and a hermitage between forests and fields. A small agricultural oasis between the town center of Palafrugell and the beaches, ideal for walks or excursions.
Mont-ras: Mont-ras is a charming town located at the foot of the mountains of Las Gabarras and whose territory, facing Palafrugell, extends across the plain until reaching the sea.
